Job summary We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist/Care Navigator to join the team at New Lyminge Surgery. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice whilst maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients. Main duties of the job Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage all aspects of patient scheduling processes. Answer phone calls, addressing enquiries/directing calls to appropriate team members. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations. Process patient forms, insurance information, and payments as required. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, with experience of using EMIS and Docman. Collaborate with clinicians to ensure efficient patient flow and communication within the team. Handle any issues/concerns raised by patients with professionalism, empathy and sensitivity. Assisting in dispensary -full training will be given. Our Reception rota covers shifts from 0800 to 1830 - 2000 on Tuesday evenings.
