Rate of Pay: £13 - £15 per hour
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern:5 out of 7 days a week
Contract Type: Term Time Only(open to potential 52week contract with the right candidate)
Access to Crowthorne Train Station, onsite car parking, uniform and meals while on shift will be provided.

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.**
The Role:
Wellington college, based in Berkshire has a fantastic opportunity to join our kitchen team as a Chef De Partie in the V&A Café creating modern, innovative street food style lunches for up to 800 covers a day. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a professional kitchen with high-quality ingredients and produce high quality dishes for all.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comply with statutory and company requirements while assisting in daily food preparation and presentation.
* Prepare food meticulously, taking special care of customers' dietary needs, including allergies.
* Support food replenishment to ensure service continuity during busy periods.
* Maintain kitchen hygiene in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and assist with cleaning schedules.
* Foster positive working relationships with colleagues to enhance teamwork and cooperation.
* Promote a good company image by delivering positive customer service practices.
* Participate in the setup and presentation of catering functions and assist with occasional duties outside regular hours.
* Contribute ideas for future menus and assist the Executive Head Chef and Senior Sous Chefs with paperwork including stock ordering.
* Report incidents, complaints, or compliments, and take appropriate actions as necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential
* Demonstrate experience of working in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level in a company
* Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards.
* Analyse problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
* Basic Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Certificates
Desirable
* Proven experience of managing client relationships
* Proven track record of leading, managing and developing a team.
* Working knowledge of Pastry
