Contracts Manager
Location: Aldgate East & Mobile
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
The Role
To ensure all works are technically compliant, run smoothly, and on programme
Reactive callouts completed on time and to customer satisfaction
Provide technical assistance/fault finding to engineers & resolve problems at site level
Manage works to SFG20 and HVAC standards
Auditing and updating of site logbooks
Reporting/Rectifying on site issues
Liaising with contractors/clients
Assisting with Mobilisation and 60-day reports
Occasional Site Cover
Principle Responsibilities:
Ensure effective running of the assigned jobs
Sufficient labour and time are allocated
Resourcing sufficient equipment and materials to complete contracted works
Systematic and logical sequence of works
Monthly Provision of department P&L (dashboard)
Monthly customer reports if a contract requisite
Proactive approach to contract remedial works
Manage callouts and complete works effectively and on time
Keep logbooks on site up to date
Manage statutory regulations and training
Manage all quoted and remedial works
Carry out toolbox talks with the engineers
Attend contracted meetings with customers.
Carry out site audits including cosmetic maintenance audits
To ensure that all plant on site systems is well documented and recorded efficiently, for
asset registers & 60-day reports.
Liaise with Help Desk on PPM works to ensure they are completed on time
Ensuring Compliance with Health and Safety regulations/risk assessments
Liaise with customers and tenants to ensure expectations are managed and met.
Assist with estimates for new contracts.
Provide quotations to clients.

To be willing to work more than usual working hours when the balance of the company's work or allocated responsibilities requires this. We do not expect excessive working hours, rather we require flexibility when there is a clear benefit to the company

responsibility with the managers and the rest of the other electrical engineers for the success of the company.

Team Responsibilities:
Be aware of basic employment and health and safety law
Provide appropriate levels of coaching, development and support to the engineers and
apprentices and recognise that everyone is different
Identify development needs
Clarify what will be expected because of the development activity
Deal with the difficult issues, fairly and effectively
Provide encouragement to take ownership of work and contribute to making decisions
Provide encouragement to input ideas and constructively challenge decisions made
Key Results Areas:
Sales- Wastage - Pick up remedial from existing contracts and be an ambassador for Polyteck
Minimise time on callouts / Minimise return visits - first time fix
Minimise cost of damage and wastage of materials
Customer Satisfaction - To be measured by repeat business, achieving high standard of
Workmanship
Programmes - On time and on budget
