We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join our supportive and dynamic team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Dunstable. About the Role: This position is to teach KS2 and KS3 students, adapting the curriculum to suit the individual needs of each child. Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that promotes positive outcomes for students with ASD and anxiety. Work collaboratively with a team of specialist staff, including teaching assistants and therapists, to support student development. Tailor lesson plans to suit varying learning styles and abilities, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive. Promote social and emotional well-being, encouraging students to build confidence and independence. What We’re Looking For: A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in special educational needs. Understanding of ASD and anxiety, with a passion for supporting children with these challenges. Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in a variety of ways. Patient, creative, and flexible in your teaching approach.
