Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Space Systems Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Stevenage. As a key member of our team, you will work on systems engineering tasks, offer consultancy services, and support digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead end-to-end change management across the product V-cycle.
* Spearhead the formulation, decomposition, validation, and traceability of system requirements.
* Plan, execute, and summarize V&V tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
* Foster cross-functional team collaboration, liaising with specialists and discipline leads to achieve project goals.
* Manage test campaigns, prepare test requests, and analyze results to inform future improvements.
* Oversee the use of IBM Rational DOORS for requirements and V&V management.
* Produce technical documentation and analysis to support project decisions.
* Ensure seamless document release using the Windchill platform.
* Identify and address non-compliance issues, maintaining project integrity.
* Consult with stakeholders to elicit and manage their capability needs, defining project requirements.
* Propose solutions to meet client needs, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
* Contribute to bid work, including costing and technical proposal generation for future system studies.
* Present findings and recommendations at meetings and workshops.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge of space systems, V-cycle, and change management processes. Experience with systems engineering tools, including IBM Rational DOORS and Windchill, is essential.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. A hybrid working model offers a balance between office and home-based work, prioritizing employee wellbeing and a positive work-life balance.
