If so, we want to hear from you The Role: We are seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to work in a welcoming and inclusive school in Stockport. This role involves supporting children with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. As an SEN TA, you will: ✔ Support students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups ✔ Assist with the development of Education Health Care Plans (EHCP) ✔ Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to provide tailored support ✔ Help create a nurturing and engaging learning environment ✔ Use psychology-based strategies to support behaviour and learning Who We're Looking For: ✅ A psychology graduate or someone with a relevant background in child development, education, or social work (desirable but not essential) ✅ Experience working with children or young people (voluntary or paid) ✅ A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills ✅ A willingness to learn and adapt to different SEN needs Why Join Us?
