PureGym has ambitious plans for strong growth as they embark on a large expansion. This role will play a pivotal part in the process as the person will be responsible for driving awareness through marketing in local areas for new gym openings to achieve membership/sales targets. The role presents an exciting opportunity for a person to gain great offline and digital experience.

The Role
* Accountable for delivering marketing plans for new gym openings ensuring objectives are successfully met.
* Activation of in-club communications, POS, and media plans for new gyms.
* Develop and implement localized marketing strategies for new gyms to ensure the sites hit sales/revenue targets.
* Share best practices for new opening campaigns with the wider Local Marketing team to review if they can be implemented in other areas.
* Write media briefs, manage media agency, and book Local Marketing campaigns.
* Work closely with our in-house studio on all artwork needed. Briefing and proofreading all artwork templates with the support of the coordinators.
* Manage relationships with the media agency and print management company.
* Look at continued innovation in our campaigns and keep track of competitor new opening marketing campaigns.
* Budget tracking & invoice management – ensure local documents are maintained and costs controlled.
* Ensure brand consistency/messaging across all local campaigns.
* Support the coordinators on planning and implementing the marketing campaigns.
* Evaluate Local Marketing campaigns for new club openings and implement a live dashboard reporting tool - tracking sales and identifying under/over-performing sites requiring additional/reduced marketing budget.
* Develop ongoing improvement through continual test and learn and take lessons into all new site openings.
* Weekly performance reporting to the wider team.
* Work closely with the property/design team to manage and maintain external signage brand guidelines.
* Ensure price changes are managed and implemented with internal teams.
* Responsible for updating creative refreshes for new openings and implementing them on the auto artwork system.
* Work closely with the new openings sales team to look at areas to improve and support.
* Additional tasks may be required, including providing support to the wider marketing team.
The Person
* 3 years experience in a management role in local marketing or marketing within retail, hospitality, or the fitness industry is preferable but not necessary.
* Good knowledge of offline and digital media.
* Excellent communication skills with proven experience in effectively building strong working relationships across marketing and other areas of a business.
* Ability to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment, with proven ability to work well under pressure and under tight deadlines.
* Strong planning skills but has the ability to react quickly to changes that may be required.
* Great time management and organizational skills, including good attention to detail.
* Resilient and passionate about their role.
* Proven experience delivering large-scale projects from start to finish.
* Solution-oriented approach with troubleshooting skills.
* Takes ownership for performance and ensures that all targets are met.
* Flexibility and ability to travel to gyms across the UK throughout the year.
