The Role As an H&S Coordinator for Organisational Learning you will work as part of the Site Delivery Health, Safety & Wellbeing team providing the highest standard of advice and support to the SZC Delivery management team. Working in a collaborative, assertive and supportive manner, the H&S Coordinator will undertake a range of health and safety activities which include day to day coordination of learning, incidents, trend analysis, and triage of events using the project H&S Incident Management System (currently Insight), all of which contributes to Sizewell C’s Zero Harm ambition. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the coordination of organisational learning for SZC Delivery and its extended supply chain, in a timely manner. • Work closely with the wider SZC Learning & Improvement team to ensure health and safety related incidents and information is transferred and centralised via the daily, pre-screening and weekly screening meetings • Coordinate actions with the individual project’s health, safety, and wellbeing team to ensure they are actioned and closed out in a timely manner in accordance with the SZC H&S Standard. • Complete the Incident and accident tracker and escalate any concerns regarding deadlines or compliance with the standard. • Coordinate and collate the required incident, accident and near miss information and ensure it is uploaded securely onto the Compliance and Improvement system. • Provide advice on the interpretation and application of the H&S management system. • Co-ordinate and collate information required to produce scheduled H&S reports and identify trends and early warnings of possible issues and recommend appropriate action. • Provide assurance and feedback to the Client and their organisations regarding CDM and Nuclear Licensing condition requirements. • Increase awareness of all health, safety and wellbeing matters through continued professional development. • Work with peers in other disciplines to ensure creation of coherent and integrated polices and systems that avoid unnecessary duplication and dissipation of effort.
