A nationally recognised, multi-disciplinary consultancy seeks an Associate Fire Engineer to join their Birmingham-based team. This ambitious company provides high-quality fire engineering services while supporting personal and professional development.
The Associate Fire Engineer's Role
The successful Associate Fire Engineer will manage projects of varying sizes across diverse sectors, ensuring high standards of fire safety. The Associate Fire Engineer will provide fire engineering solutions. Alongside this, you will mentor junior graduates and work alongside the Head of Fire Engineering.
The Associate Fire Engineer's Responsibilities include:
1. Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers.
2. Developing commercial opportunities through client engagement and business development.
3. Ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation and advising on policy updates.
4. Conducting fire engineering assessments, preparing reports, and presenting findings to clients.
The Associate Fire Engineer must have:
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior Fire Engineer.
2. BSc, BEng, or higher in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
3. Associate membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (AIFireE) or equivalent.
4. Familiarity with FREAWs and compliance regulations is desirable.
