We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Meeting and Events Co-ordinator pat time 32 hours a week at the Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport - Bedfordshire, We are seeking a Meeting and Events Co-ordinator to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. This role is pivotal to our success, and the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing group meetings and events., Coordinate and manage group events and meetings
Respond to inquiries and provide information to potential clients
Prepare and distribute event proposals and contracts
Communicate with hotel departments to ensure successful events
Assist with on-site event management
Prepare and distribute event invoices and collect payments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date event records
Prior experience in event coordination and management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software
Experience in Opera preferred or similar property management system
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and evenings
