We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Building Services team at Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge.
Working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will efficiently and effectively carry out planned, breakdown and emergency maintenance of a wide range of engineering or building related services to support in delivering a comprehensive estate service across all areas of activity.
What you'll do:
* Completion of tasks either as part of the reactive or planned work programme to a high standard.
* Complete documentation as part of the record systems management requirements.
* Undertake a variety of FM maintenance works.
* Take meter readings or other instrument readings as required.
* Follow engineering and building drawings and specifications.
* Determine what spares, components or supplies are needed in order to satisfactorily undertake and complete the work associated with repair or routine maintenance.
* Complete all record sheets and paperwork associated with routine duties accurately and in good time.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Possess basic computer literacy skills.
* Possess knowledge of building services and general building maintenance.
* Have completed recognised training at Assistant Craft Level.
* Proven experience working within building and building services maintenance.
