Responsible for monitoring and reporting compliance with quality standards and procedures all installation, calibration and testing processes of electrical and instrumentation scope. Recommend methods to improve overall quality and assists in analysing quality concerns. Monitor and assist construction to achieve quality standards.
Perform inspections in accordance with the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan). Liaise with client's representative for conducting of day to day inspection during the construction activities.
Ensure installation of equipment is in compliance with ECS Code, drawings, vendor and code requirements with respect to; Assist QC Manager and Area Leads in executing their responsibilities.
Maintaining LTQR's as required during inspections ensuring all signatures on LTQR and ITP during inspection.
Champion Foreign Material Exclusion, preventing ingress or entrapment of non-specified materials, loose items or debris in equipment and /or systems during assembly and testing.
Qualifications in an Engineering discipline, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 years in progressively responsible inspection positions, understanding of isometric drawings.2 welding inspection qualification for welding.
