What You’ll Do:
As an Audit Senior, you will take a leading role in delivering high-quality audit and corporation tax compliance services to some of the region’s leading SME businesses. You’ll play a key part in developing audit strategies, leading on-site engagements, drawing actionable insights from audit findings, and nurturing strong client relationships.
* Develop and execute robust audit plans by identifying risks, assessing controls, and aligning with each client’s commercial objectives.
* Deliver audit projects on time and within budget, delegating tasks effectively and managing the audit team on-site.
* Coach and develop junior team members, fostering on-the-job learning and professional growth.
* Provide insightful conclusions and recommendations, identifying opportunities for system and control improvements.
* Review audit deliverables, including accounts, tax computations, letters of representation, and board reports.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and quality audit delivery.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards for high-quality, compliant audits.
* Engage in CPD activities to maintain and enhance your technical expertise and professional knowledge.
What You’ll Bring:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Audit Senior with a proven track record in delivering high-quality audits and managing teams. You’ll be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and bring expertise across a variety of sectors, particularly within SME environments.
* Proven audit experience, including end-to-end delivery of high-quality audit assignments – essential.
* Client experience across sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, technology, media, and telecommunications – essential.
* Experience working with SME or international clients – essential.
* Experience with data analytics platforms – desirable.
* Strong client relationship skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding service – essential.
* Team management and coaching experience, including mentoring junior colleagues – essential.
