Job Opportunity
Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You’ll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. In this role, you will focus on delivery in the Families and Carers part of our service, facilitating peer support groups and 1:1 support. Evening sessions are held weekly on Mondays.
This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they’re always treated with respect and dignity.
This is a part time role working 30 hours per week, Monday evening 18:15 - 20:30 and occasional Saturday working on a rota basis may be required. The salary for the position is £23,821 - £31,762 per annum pro rata.
Essential Skills
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. You will have demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, or a clear motivation for wanting to work in the drug and alcohol sector. A successful track record of providing efficient and reliable customer service is essential.
You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained. You will have the ability to deliver parenting and behaviour management support to families and be able to coach, mentor and motivate families to make and sustain change. You will have experience of working with and supporting families and the ability to work with young people, parents and families in the family home and other community locations, supporting families during difficult situations.
Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do and has a positive and engaging approach to our clients and key stakeholders.
A driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this position.
