**Up to 12 month maternity cover** - Permanent potentially considered
This is a role supporting the Litigation division of the firm within its established Knowledge Management department comprising a number of other PSLs and library manager. The role will have a particular focus on:
1. Keeping the team updated on relevant legal and procedural updates by preparing and circulating regular relevant internal updates.
2. Curating existing know how resources and producing new resources as well as dealing with fee earner queries.
3. Working alongside others to identify and develop areas of best practice.
4. Delivering (or arranging for others to deliver) technical and other training to the teams and to clients.
5. Assisting with broader departmental business development activities, including profile raising and keeping ahead of developments, innovations and technology.
6. Knowledge sharing initiatives and designing/being responsible for the delivery of technical training to the team.
7. Updating the firm's precedent database and creating new resources as well as creating best practice procedures. Applicants are not expected to have knowledge in all areas of law covered by the Division. With other PSLs at the firm in the corporate and property divisions, then a focus on commercial/contract law would be advantageous.
8. Producing materials for client update bulletins, articles, webinars and podcasts on legal developments.
9. Supporting the delivery of training and current awareness updates to clients and intermediaries as required.
Professional Skills:
1. Applicants should also be comfortable developing seminars for public presentations, training fee earners at all levels.
2. Applicants will have both a deep understanding of the skills and knowledge required for litigation and dispute resolution law and practice as well as the ability to convey complex concepts in a confident and user-friendly manner.
The candidate
The successful candidate will have significant experience as a litigation lawyer in England & Wales, either in private practice or within an in-house team, as well as an excellent academic record. Previous experience in a PSL role is desirable but not essential.

3. Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Previous experience of using alternate presentation software (such as Prezi) and webex (such as Adobe Connect) would be an advantage.

7. Ability to remain calm and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
