Job Opportunity: Instrument Technician (Maintenance)

We are currently looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join a leading energy infrastructure business in the Cumbria area. Industry: Chemical / Power / CHP / Biomass / Fuel
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver the Planned Maintenance (PM) schedules as defined by the site maintenance plans.
Maintain a strong understanding of process measuring instrumentation (temperature, pressure, level, flow).
Work with pneumatic controllers and switches, ensuring all systems are operating efficiently.
Complete Planned Maintenance inspections in line with site maintenance plans.
Contribute to problem-solving workshops, offering engineering expertise to identify root causes of failures and propose improvement actions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must have completed an apprenticeship or possess equivalent qualifications in instrumentation or electrical engineering.
Previous experience in a maintenance environment, particularly with instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of process instrumentation.
