A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of People to join a growing pharmaceutical business based in Preston. In this role you will shape and implement the people strategy and play a key leadership role in the business, aiming to build a diverse and engaged workforce. Below is an overview of the key responsibilities: Shaping and delivering a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the broader business strategy Managing a small, high performing team Working with the Talent Acquisition Manager to attract and retain top talent Leading on a variety of employee engagement initiatives, championing employee well-being Coaching Managers on all areas of HR Advising on internal succession planning Ensuring compensation and benefits are in line with the external market Creating new HR policies inline with changes to employment legislation Reporting on HR data, using this to drive decision making The successful candidate for this role will have relevant HR experience having worked at a similar level, ideally within a high-growth business.
