We are looking for friendly, customer focused people to join the team, where you will be maintaining our cycling and walking paths and keeping our car parks tidy to ensure visitors have a safe and enjoyable visit. You will also be carrying out land and woodland management, organising and delivering fishing events and working closely with the Manager to always ensure visitor safety. You'll assist in the management of the fishery by maintaining appropriate level and quality of stock, reporting variances to the Manager, report weekly on catch data and ensure compliance with relevant permit and hire bylaws. You will have the opportunity to develop commercial fishing events and promote the fishery and wider water park via our social media channels. What does it take to become a Ranger? Experience in the maintenance and management of country parks and facilities. Experience in land management and/or water based practical qualification (desirable). Excellent customer service and communication skills Practical skills that can be applied to the maintenance and upkeep of the site. Ability to be flexible with shifts and willingness to learn.
