Newcastle Bridges School is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Headteacher to join our team from September 2025. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated leader with a proven track record of success in a similar setting. The successful candidate will:
• Have a passion for teaching and learning, and improving outcomes for pupils
• Have substantial experience in leadership within special or alternative provision settings
• Demonstrate expertise in supporting pupils with SEMH needs or Autism
• Be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and motivate others
• Share our commitment to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive
• Have flexibility and gain an understanding of the specific needs of our students
• Innovate and motivate the staff team working with our pupils, ensuring they maximise the opportunities presented to them
• Contribute to the strategic development of the school
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Have the highest of expectations for all our pupils and a relentless focus on safeguarding
