I am a fun-loving, happy and vibrant young man who is intelligent and sociable. I have complex health needs, which means I need support 24 hours per day with 2 Healthcare assistants. My health needs include Epilepsy, PEG feed, tracheostomy, regular suctioning, and physiotherapy.

I am reliant on my team for all transfers using the equipment provided. In addition, I require support with all aspects of personal care and tasks of daily living. I enjoy going to school and socialising with family and friends.
The ideal candidate needs to be fun-loving, confident, assertive, and a team player. You need to be able to establish a good relationship with my mum, who I live with, and be able to work in a team and follow instructions from a clinical lead. Previous health experience is essential.
Shifts are 12.5 hours, and staff are required to support with days, nights, and alternate weekends. Times are 06:45 am – 19:15 pm and 18:45 pm to 07:15 am.
You will need to commit to a 6-month probation/training period to become competent enough to support me. Full training will be provided. You need to be flexible and be able to work unsociable hours: Days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
You may also be required to support me in hospital settings or on holiday as required.
Must be a car driver with your own vehicle.
There are opportunities for full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) as well as part-time. These are being paid at a rate of £14 per hour until they are fully competent and then £15 per hour weekdays, £16 per hour weeknights, and £17 per hour at weekends.
5.6 weeks’ holiday is awarded per year as standard (pro rata for part-time positions). Employees are also able to join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months of service, subject to the rules of the scheme, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after completion of a successful probation period.
