Role: Female Support Worker – driver essential Here at Cartrefi Cymru we support adults with learning disabilities and vulnerable adults in the community to live a fulfilled and enriched life. It's possible to pick up additional shifts for those who want it to work across our other services locally Salary: £12.14 per hour and our sleep-in shifts at £60 per night. If you use your own vehicle to attend training for example, we cover milage at 45p per mile Contract: Permanent Interviews: 28th March What you’ll be doing: In this role you’ll be supporting 1 female in her own home, though nonverbal she always finds different ways to communicate with us. You’ll encourage her to make her own choices about everyday things such as what to wear, what to do, what to eat, as well as bigger decisions such as where to live, how to spend money or where to go on holiday for example. The female you’ll be supporting enjoys going to structured activities such as day services, community events, discos but also unstructured such as shopping, lunches and wheelchair walks. Our goal is to empower individuals to live their best life, providing support tailored to their unique needs and preferences. This a really is a fun and rewarding role for the right person.
