About the Role
We are looking for two Plant Operators to join the team at our Christchurch Works site where we manufacture, process and despatch fertiliser. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you'll ensure the safe, effective operation of the manufacture plant to achieve planned production levels. By keeping machinery running at optimum levels - and safely - we're best placed to help our farmers/shareholders, and you're best placed for a rewarding job with great scope for growth.
About You
Given the work environment and nature of the role, it's essential you're physically fit, and mechanically minded. Ideally, you'll be comfortable at the controls of a forklift, but if not, we can provide the training to get you there if you have a positive, can-do attitude.
To be successful in the role, you will ideally:
* Be flexible in your ability to work alternating shift patterns, including nights and weekends
* Possess manufacturing or process plant experience
* Enjoy working as part of a team
* Be physically fit
* Be mechanically minded
* Have a reasonable level of computer literacy
