Job Title:
Terminal Controller

Overview:
The Terminal Controller will lead a team of 3 employees and support 150 staff members in the North-West region. The role is site-based with occasional travel within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Support: Assist the UK Head of Transport in implementing strategic objectives and fostering continuous improvement across the terminal.
* Team Leadership: Guide terminal personnel daily, promoting competence, accountability, and safety-focused performance.
* Operational Oversight: Oversee all day-to-day terminal activities, ensuring adherence to budget and KPIs.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (Safety, Engineering, Customer Services) to enhance operational efficiency.
* Financial Accountability: Cultivate financial accountability within the team to optimize individual and site performance.
* Peak Season Flexibility: Adjust working hours as needed to support operational demands, particularly during peak winter months.
* Quality Management: Manage BS ISO9001 with a focus on compliance.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in fuels/chemicals with proven management experience in an Upper Tier COMAH environment.
* Relevant degree (Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Safety Management).
* NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; CPC Management (preferred).
* Comprehensive understanding of UK/EU safety regulations, especially COMAH, Health and Safety at Work Act, and Environmental Protection Act.
