Purbeck Health Centre is a well-established, patient-focused GP practice community looking for an experienced and dedicated advanced nurse practitioner (ANP) on a full or part-time basis, to join our friendly and supportive team. This key role will play an important part in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You will work autonomously within your scope of practice, assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with acute and chronic conditions. Key responsibilities will include: Conduct independent clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments. Manage acute illnesses, long-term conditions, and minor ailments. Prescribe medications where appropriate (independent prescriber qualification required). Deliver evidence-based care and chronic disease management. Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Support the triage system and urgent care services within the practice. About the Candidate We’re looking for a team player with a compassionate, patient-focused approach and strong communication skills. All applicants should have the following: Registered Nurse with NMC registration. MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent experience). Independent prescriber qualification. Experience in a primary care or urgent care setting. Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
