Education and Training
£20 - £30 Per hour
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised lesson plans to meet the specific learning needs of each student
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' academic development
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
Minimum Requirements:
* Recognised teaching qualification
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Excellent knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
Desired Skills:
* Strong understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process
* Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning
* Specialist SEN training or qualification
* Experience in conducting assessments and creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
