Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Finance Administrator to work for our client based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire
Purpose of the role:
To contribute to the effectiveness of the company through the efficient administration of our day-to-day financial transactions.
To assist informed and effective decision-making through the provision of accurate financial reporting data.
To work closely with the Finance Manager in ensuring all financial transactional processes of the organisation are in order.
Role: Finance Administrator
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Location: Wallingford, Oxford
Hours: Mon - Fri, 37.5hrs per week
Key Responsibilities of the Office Administrator:
Checking monthly payments schedule
Preparing month end checks and meeting deadlines to ensure information for management accounts, relating to purchases, are produced on time.
Purchase Ledger and payment allocation management
Provide Project Accounting/Finance administration support to staff as required
Reporting and consolidating information for monthly Ecology report
Raising PO's, Entering and interrogating purchase invoices and delivering notes for accuracy
Control of Goods received not invoiced accruals
Stock Control
About you:
Ability to produce financial data to a high level of accuracy to assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
Highly computer literate, preferably with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel
Good communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
Experience of Sales and Purchase processes
Computer literate in Sage and Oracle or other accounting software will be an advantage.
