Position Overview
This is an opportunity to influence strategic technology solutions in the Global Transaction Banking space. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking charge of the full end-to-end UX process, from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and implementation. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering seamless and intuitive user journeys for global transaction banking services This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge platforms to solve problems of scale and speed.
Role Description
1. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather insights, understand user needs, and define design strategies that align with business objectives.
2. Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system that encompasses UX and UI standards, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability across platforms and products.
3. Advocate for user-centred design principles, championing the importance of user research and usability testing in the design process to validate and refine design decisions.
4. Extensive experience in collaborating with design and development teams to drive the adoption of the products/platforms.
5. Stay informed about the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to incorporate cutting-edge innovations into our design processes
Candidate Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
6. Extensive experience in UX/UI design, with a strong track record of leading and delivering successful projects, ideally within the financial or banking sector.
7. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Axure or Sketch along with prototyping tools to efficiently execute design processes.
8. A track record of continuously improving and evolving design systems over time. Your experience in identifying opportunities for enhancement and adapting the design system to meet changing user needs and industry trends will be vital in keeping it at the forefront of innovation.
9. Solid understanding and implementation of design systems to ensure consistency and streamline design workflows.
10. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively convey design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and senior management.
11. Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative mindset, capable of inspiring and guiding a team of designers to reach their full potential.
12. Creative problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering user-centric solutions that exceed expectations and drive business impact.
