Reed Accountancy are currently exclusively partnered with a well-established Maidenhead based company seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join their team. Working within a small team and as the sole person in Finance, this is a varied and well-rounded position that offers the chance to have full ownership and promises to be a rewarding opportunity.
The company has been in operation for over 20 years and has been growing steadily. This is a new role to the business due to some internal changes. You will be working alongside, and reporting into, the Company Directors, assuming the financial management and administration duties, providing sound financial advice, effective financial management, and collaborating with the Office Manager on administrative functions.
Working on Xero, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Responsibilities:
* Manage the full account payable and receivable function, including payment of all invoices and bills.
* Payroll administration.
* Enter all Company finance transactions into XERO accounting software.
* Regular bank reconciliations.
* Budget planning.
* Monitor internal controls, administrative systems, policies, and procedures to ensure that the day-to-day operational activities are efficient, effective, and in line with approved strategic initiatives and budgetary allocations.
* Monitor remittances to ensure adequate cash flow meets the requirements of the organization.
* Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
* Prepare and issue Quotes and Commercial Technical Service Agreements (CTSAs) and liaise directly with customer focal points on the timely issue of approved purchase orders.
* Prepare Pro-Forma’s for S.O.’s and Sales Invoices, including, as required, WHT or other applicable taxes due for services and reimbursable expenses (credit card & cash expenses incurred for the services).
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have experience with Xero and Excel and be confident working in a small team with the flexibility and adaptability to take on diverse tasks. Experience with multicurrencies would be beneficial, and experience with payroll would be desirable.
