* The role is responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:
* Generate and respond to customer enquiries and producing appropriate technical & commercial quotations
* Liaise with the Sales Team, Production, Laboratory, Stores, Purchasing, and Quality Teams to ensure CCPI Europe can meet customer requirements.
* Check technical data & commercial terms to ensure accuracy and consistency via contract review
* Process orders using the ERP system (currently Tricorn) and other systems as appropriate
* Liaise with all necessary internal & external departments and customers to communicate key information
* Use the ERP system to create & maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the manufacturing of thermocouples
* Administration (filing / scanning) of paperwork and maintaining accurate records
* Any other reasonable task required of the technical sales role
* Provide technical drawing support as required
* Identify any problems and raise these with management; Sales Office Manager / Sales & marketing Director and other Heads of Department
Context of Job: This is an important role within the organisation to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Sales Team. The Technical Sales Engineer needs to be aware of both current and new product ranges, industry standards & specifications and end user working practices & applications. CCPI Europe is a technology company, focused on product leadership in its chosen markets. The company is planning both future organic growth and New Product Introductions. Maintaining good working relationships with: the Sales Office Manager, Sales Team members, Heads of Departments and colleagues to help CCPI to become Market Leader and Innovator in Temperature Measurement solutions for demanding applications. The role is largely office based but occasional travel nationally and internationally may be required.
* Minimum Grade C / 4 in Maths and English.
* Excellent communication skills

* Willingness to continue training and development to enhance performance and increase knowledge

Desirable:
* Practical experience of working in a Temperature Measurement / Instrumentation industry, or other field of sensing devices (flow, pressure, etc.)
* Educated to Higher Diploma / Degree level within an Engineering or core science discipline
* CAD or Desktop publishing skills are desirable
* Foreign languages would be of benefit
* Knowledge and awareness of Aerospace Composites manufacturing methods including Autoclave temperature measurement is also a desired strength
* Knowledge and awareness of the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 17025: 2017, AMS 2750 and BS EN 9100:2018
