As a senior team member, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team including risk and change managers supporting the programme. The role reports risk/value into the Mace Dragados (MDJV) Project Delivery team, provides reports and risk management interfaces into the Clients risk system, and manages risk / opportunity with stakeholders and supply chain partners. The role requires the implementation of risk management tools to ensure the accurate capture and maintenance of Risk and opportunity at Strategic and delivery levels. This includes ensuring all risks and opportunities which may have an impact on the successful completion of the project are captured and managed along with the management and reporting of risk kpi’s for the project. As the risk lead you will be responsible for the development of the risk management plan, delivering QCRA/QSRA process and leading teams through the evaluation, reporting and evidencing cycles for the programme including the capture and management of change and lessons learnt across the project. The role will also support the innovation and cost management processes linking into wider programme and MDJV objectives. The role is based in the Curzon Street Project Office in Birmingham, with some hybrid working arrangements available. You’ll be responsible for: Providing risk & value management across the Curzon Street project, supporting the risk, opportunities, lessons learnt and change process for the programme. Managing risk at strategic and delivery levels linking with client, stakeholders and supply chain. System administration for risk management software and systems across the programme. Ensuring project, strategic and package risk registers are established, maintained and communicated to the relevant teams. Delivery of Risk KPI’s to the client team. Facilitating risk reviews and coordinates day-to-day risk management, including escalation of risks Preparation of risk and opportunity reports Engaging with stakeholders to drive mitigation of risk and realisation of opportunities Supporting development of risk management awareness and engagement Developing and Managing the QRA Process (inc QSRA and QRCA reviews), for the project, including the production of reports, responding to queries, evidencing and reporting into the relevant project disciplines to ensure accurate management across Programme and Cost functions updates. Development and management of risk action lists at all levels of the programme Carrying out Lessons Learnt exercises and communicating this to the team and wider Hs2 Community. Representing the project at strategic risk management review across HS2 Projects (Charing meetings where required) Representing the project for the lessons learnt, capturing information and managing this against the risk and value process. Training / upskilling the team and other risk management staff across the programme. You’ll need to have: Expert knowledge of risk management and processes. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Working with risk management software. Experience managing and running QRA’s across Schedule and cost. Experience using Microsoft Office tools, particularly excel. Strong numerical and data analysis skills. Ability to independently conduct research / verify information. Understanding of risk management principles and techniques. You’ll also have: Working Knowledge of Xactium, and Risk Hive Software (Admin knowledge preferred) Experienced in administration for Risk Hive. Demonstrating experience in Risk Assurance.
