The Opportunity:
Supporting finance business partners across medical deaneries by preparing journals and management accounts; providing financial analysis and management information for both strategic and operational purposes; reconciling financial data to ensure accuracy of processing according to University policies and procedures; reinforcing wider understanding of financial policies and procedures by liaising with staff across deaneries; and developing effective working relationship with key stakeholders to assist with gathering of financial data.
Either HNC/HND or equivalent level qualification in relevant discipline plus relevant experience or extensive broad experience acquired through on-the-job training.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Have customer-focussed approach.
Ability to prioritise workload to tight schedules.
Proven written and verbal communication skills.
