We are looking for a speech and language therapist to join our pre-school and schools team in Waltham Forest. You will be joining a friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team.
Main duties of the job
Speech and Language Therapists are core to the efficient service delivery that we provide to children, young people, and their families.
As a Speech and Language Therapist in our service, you will deliver care to children, young people, and their families in Waltham Forest.
In your allocated schools, you will provide assessments including EHCPs as well as delivering intervention and training to upskill school staff. Within the pre-school team, you will run interventions as well as undertake initial assessments.

NELFT places a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks.

Person specification
* Demonstrate clear clinical reasoning based on evidenced based practice
* Formulate care programmes and identify goals using good organisational and prioritisation skills
* Relevant experience at undergraduate/postgraduate level
* Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
* Professional registration
