Coco di Mama is looking for a Learning and Development Advisor to join our wonderful team.
The Learning and Development Advisor works within the People Team. The main purpose of the role is to design and deliver development solutions for the business, relating to either job roles, initiatives or launches. This is their main duty; however, it will be supplemented by managing and monitoring development programmes and a more general tone of promoting the People agenda by influencing and inspiring the wider population. The L&D Advisor consistently identifies the development needs within the company and innovates new training content and techniques to enhance the learning of our teams. They must have an excellent understanding of store standards and be able to influence and communicate widely across many levels of management within all departments. Please note this is not a remote role.
Main Responsibilities
Monitor & Manage: 40%
1. Responsible for implementation and management of the full training cycle from the identification of training needs with other key stakeholders, to evaluation of training.
2. Responsible for managing all aspects of selected programmes for trainees, including but not limited to creating end to end role development and process i.e. from nomination to graduation.
3. Creating, reporting and managing relevant KPIs across L&D function.
4. Ownership of all administrational aspects of selected development programmes.
5. Monitoring compliance and results within the development programmes such as course attendance, e-learning and family tree compliance. This includes following up on non-compliance.
Design & Deliver: 40%
1. Full responsibility for the development and delivery of the relevant workshops, courses and supporting material, constantly looking at new ways to enhance them to deliver commercial value to the business.
2. Responsible for designing and maintaining relevant training materials to support the blended learning approach at Coco di Mama.
3. Responsible for the development of the respective roles to ensure they remain competitive and relevant.
4. Liaise with other central departments to deliver any additional training, assist in developing new ideas and managing other projects.
Influence & Inspire: 20%
1. Working alongside colleagues in the People Team to help promote a culture of in-house succession that encourages and maintains a positive approach to staff retention.
2. Uses their natural style to easily engage people within the business with the L&D function and its aims.
3. Works at a fast pace to deliver for their team, the business and the customers.

6. Be self-motivated and flexible with the working hours as this job is field based at times and travel is required.
7. Be capable of completing administrative duties such as generating weekly reports and updating databases with minimum supervision.
