We are looking for a skilled Sprayer to join our Manuplas team in Plymouth, assisting in the manufacture and supply of sprayed polyurethane products for the marine, subsea, and leisure industries.
Main responsibilities will include:
1. Set up and preparation of products, tooling, equipment, and materials for spray operations.
2. Spraying products using a variety of materials, chemicals, and equipment.
3. Application of paint for a range of surface finishes to products.
4. Airbrushing of paint finishes for leisure products.
5. Maintaining tools and equipment, including cleaning and safe storage.
6. Assisting other parts of production when needed.
7. Maintaining high levels of housekeeping; taking pride in your working areas.
8. Working in line with requirements of quality, health and safety, and environmental management systems.
Ideal candidates will be:
1. Experienced in spraying within the marine, automotive, or aerospace industries.
2. Fully competent in using production machinery and equipment.
3. Experienced working within a manufacturing/production environment.
4. Capable of following precise written instructions, specifications, and drawings.
5. Able to create and keep effective written records.
6. Comfortable working alone on own initiative as well as being a strong team player.
7. Experienced in spraying PU products (desired but not essential).
Salary: £32,240.00 per annum
