As a Stock Controller your main responsibilities will include....
Storage and distribution of stock, overseeing inventory audits, and maintaining reports of purchases and pricing.
You will be required to work within supply chain procedures and have good communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
You will support the logistics front line manager in preparing, managing, and delivering the control of stock movement and material control in line with customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
Main Role
* Manage and maintain the company’s stock inventory including tracking and overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments.
* Create and develop a cyclical count to ensure all materials captured during FY to required levels.
* Carry out regular audits of physical and digital stock to ensure inventory records are accurate.
* Generate and analyse stock reports, noting any discrepancies and investigating causes (Site/External)
* Forecast future stock needs and request new stock as required.
* Work with sales and purchasing teams to manage supply and demand.
* Key role in audit control
* Identify and dispose of obsolete or damaged stock in line with PRN SOP’s
* Develop critical stock levels on key materials and work closely with suppliers to optimize bookings and MOQ’s.
* Support invoice traceability and control.
* Ensure all stock storage areas are organized, clean, and safe for staff.The above list is not exhaustive.
You will be required to undertake other duties within your capabilities, consistent with this role, to support the needs of the business.
Experience and skills
Essential
* Knowledge of stock control systems and material control
* Demonstrable experience of operating in a similar role
* Confident user of Microsoft office suite, in particular Excel
* Good People skills
* Accurate, analytical, and Precise
Desirable
* Works with minimum supervision
* Possesses initiative.
* Willing to challenge existing work systems.
