Job Title: Project Manager- Delivery

Salary: £56,000+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Deputising for Senior Project Manager and main liaison with the customer and senior stakeholders
* Responsible for managing your respective teams (including development)
* You will be the route of escalation for dependencies impacting assigned yards
* Prioritising and delegating workload for assigned yards
* Ensuring process adherence and drive continuous improvement
Your skills and experiences:
Essentials:
* Defence Project Management experience, preferably shipbuilding
* Demonstrated experience of line management or leadership experience
* Experience of collaborating with teams within the bounds of a customer to supplier contracts
* Experience managing complex projects and multiple deliverables
* Experience managing stakeholders in multifunctional teams
Desirables:
* Experience of summarising complex data and delivering reports
* Experience of leading product readiness reviews and handover reviews

The Dreadnought Strategic Outsource Team:
The Dreadnought Strategic Outsource team is responsible for providing capacity relief to the Barrow site. The department delivers a number of products across all four boats. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work in a multi-functional team and have a meaningful impact for delivering key elements of the Dreadnought Submarine. This role will also allow you to set up a successful lasting career with BAE Systems.
