Project Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a growing team at a leading power system technologies provider. The organisation specialises in delivering a complete package of solutions to a primarily blue-chip client base. This role will focus on providing project management, design, and engineering expertise to ensure the successful delivery of projects both in the UK and overseas.
About the Role:
Based in Watford, the engineering team supports a wide variety of projects. The Project Manager will manage multiple projects from initial handover to completion, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and adherence to programme and budget constraints. Additionally, the role involves providing support to design and engineering teams and coordinating with production as necessary.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
Manage projects from inception through to successful delivery, maintaining high standards of client satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide design and engineering support to the team as needed.
Adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining a focus on service delivery.
Uphold technical excellence in all aspects of project management and execution.
Required Skills and Experience of the Project Manager:
Strong technical knowledge of low voltage switchgear (Desirable) or a solid background in power systems.
Appropriate electrical or engineering qualifications.
Experience in project management and site management.
Ability to work within project budgets.
Proficient in CAD design, particularly using Autodesk products.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Excellent communication skills and IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office and Autodesk software.
