Position: Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Technical Sales Executive
Company: Renowned manufacturer of measuring equipment, metrology, non-contact measuring/optical measuring equipment, gauging products, workshop tools, hardness testers, engineering hand tools, and other products used in manufacturing and precision engineering.
Location: Covering the East Midlands up to Yorkshire and to the East of the UK (including CV, NN, LE, PE, NR, DE, NG, LN, S, DN, YO, LS, WF, HU, and HG postcodes). Can be based anywhere within this patch.

Role:
1. Support the implementation of the Sales strategy.
2. Selling measuring tools, metrology, engineering products, non-contact measuring/optical measuring equipment, gauging products, workshop tools, hardness testers to End Users and via industrial distribution.
3. Manage and support an existing customer base.
4. Conduct customer visits.
5. Work from home covering the designated area.
6. Sell into the precision engineering/manufacturing industry (including Aerospace, Automotive, Machine Tools, Machining, Defence, etc.).
7. Manage own appointments with Buyers/Engineers of existing and prospective customers.
8. Develop business relationships with Key accounts to maximize business.
9. Identify and pursue new opportunities.
10. Work alongside Specialists to develop technical customer quotations.
11. Attend exhibitions.
Requirements:
1. Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Executive, or internal sales engineer looking to progress into area sales.
2. An engineering sales background - experience selling engineering products, metrology, measuring instruments, industrial measurement equipment, precision tools, workholding, workshop tools, machine tools/accessories, cutting tools, machining products, or similar would be beneficial; product training will be provided.
3. Engineering qualification/apprentice trained would be beneficial.
4. Must be based within the specified area.
5. Full UK driving license.
