Position Overview
They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, processing orders, and supporting the sales team in achieving company objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the steel industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
2. Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
3. Quotations and Pricing: Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, negotiate pricing, and follow up on customer inquiries to secure sales.
4. Inventory Management: Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure product availability, manage stock levels, and oversee logistics to meet customer demands.
5. Sales Support: Assist the external sales team by providing relevant product information, market trends, and customer feedback to help achieve sales targets.
6. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities.
7. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence in the CRM system, providing regular reports to management.
8. Problem Resolution: Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a satisfactory resolution and maintaining strong client relationships.
9. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in internal sales, preferably within the steel industry or related sectors.
3. Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel products, grades, and applications.
