An increasingly growing logistics group are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Manager on a permanent basis with a salary paying up to £50,000. They are looking to add to their finance team where you'll be joining them in an office based near Basingstoke working on a Hybrid Model.
Your new role
Your new role will see you reporting directly to the Payroll & Benefits Manager, where you'll be asked to fulfil various responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Performing the day-to-day payroll processing activities, including dealing with joiners, leavers, salary increases, parental pay and other typical payroll tasks
2. Responsible for sending payroll related data to the local payroll vendors for payroll processing, adhering to the payroll calendar deadlines.
3. Ensure the vendors make accurate and timely preparation of earnings statements and payment of wages for the employees in the countries assigned (currently UK, Scotland, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, China, USA)
4. Responsible for payroll audits, internal and external agencies in collaboration with correct stakeholder.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to have worked at least 2 years working in a Payroll & Benefits function as you’ll be expected to hit the ground running. You will have strong attention to detail, a high level of speed & accuracy, strongmunication skills, and a strong hunger to succeed. You’ll ideally have Advanced Excel skills & understanding of the payroll function and knowledge including legislation and tax, a demonstrated understanding of all aspects of multi-country payroll processes; including, but not limited to, benefits, taxes, social security and time and attendance & knowledge of ADP IHCM.
