As a Planner, you will be responsible for carrying out all necessary work correctly for planning and coordinating all activities required for the logistical process to proceed smoothly in order to fulfill client orders.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning the orders and coordinating logistical activities.
2. Managing the planning system and the planning archive in accordance with the guidelines and agreements made with the General Manager.
3. Giving instructions to forklift truck drivers, operators, and pickers to ensure efficient execution of logistical orders.
Warehouse Planner

Your key tasks will involve:
1. Scheduling orders using the warehouse management system.
2. Consulting with the assistant planner.
3. Working in accordance with agreements with clients and hauliers.
4. Issuing process orders to forklift truck drivers and pickers.
5. Monitoring the schedule and making adjustments if necessary.
6. Maintaining daily contact with clients and hauliers or their representatives regarding progress, priorities, anomalies, and problems.
7. Identifying anomalies and problems, informing the site manager, and agreeing on measures to be taken.
8. Processing the administrative information relating to logistical activities.
9. Managing logistics employees.
Additional tasks include:
1. Keeping up to date on developments in the area of work.
2. Focusing on opportunities for improvements and cost savings.
3. Actively exchanging information and knowledge with other Newcold sites.
4. Working on the development of personal performance.
Job Requirements:
1. Basic numeracy skills.
2. Basic English skills.
Specific Requirements:
1. Broad knowledge of the applied planning system.
2. Wide experience in computers and software.
3. Knowledge of the warehouse system.
4. Experienced user of computer and software.
5. Ability to work a 4 on 4 off pattern.
