We are looking for an experienced Legal & Compliance Manager to oversee compliance across our estate of Petrol Filling Stations (PFS) and convenience stores. This fully remote role requires frequent travel across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct legal compliance audits (on-site and remotely) and manage post-visit reports.
2. Oversee incident management, including CCTV requests and follow-ups.
3. Handle alcohol licensing, including applications, renewals, and attending hearings when needed.
4. Manage operator recruitment, including interviews and document review.
5. Ensure compliance with Modern Slavery regulations and prepare the annual statement.
6. Oversee legal compliance for new sites, staff training, and legal documentation.
7. Support acquisitions, divestments, and premises license transfers.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in Legal & Compliance within the fuel and convenience retail sector.
2. Strong knowledge of legislative and company compliance, particularly in health and safety and licensing.
3. Ability to manage risk and work independently.
4. Willingness to travel nationwide, with occasional overnight stays.
5. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
