The clinical responsibilities of the job will include Psychiatric assessment and management of children and young people aged 0-18 presenting with Learning Disabilities and associated mental health problems and disorders referred to the service. They would work together with the wider multidisciplinary team and external agencies to develop and deliver formulations, risk assessment and care plan and treatment packages through the use of their expertise in diagnostics, psychopharmacology and other psychosocial interventions. They will contribute to service management and development together with their line managers and co-workers. They will participate in a daytime SoTyne CYPS on all rota 1:7 and the out of hours on call rota. The Job dedicated SPA time to supporting you in professional activities including continuous professional development, developing any academic interest and to partake in teaching, audit and research.
