Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers within Industrial Automation & Control Systems, providing end to end solutions for Industrial Projects from Project Management, Electrical & Mechanical Design, Control Panel & MCC Manufacturing, PLC & SCADA Program/Intall/Commission. Their Sector experience ranges from Rail, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Water, Renewable Energy, Nuclear, Oil & Gas and are currently looking for a Project Manager with time served experience in the Gas industry.
Job Specification & Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
Adhering to safety standards on-site (H&S / CDM Regulations)
Installing tray work, conduit, and trunking
Installing SWA-type cabling of various sizes
Installing distribution boards
Electrical installation in industrial environments
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (Basic)
Although overtime is not guaranteed, average hours are 50+ per week for around 10 months of the year.
Remuneration Package
Hourly Rate: £20.32 per hour
Overtime Pay: Time and a half after 37.5 hours (including travel time) - Saturdays First 6 hours at time and a half, double time thereafter - Sundays Double time all day
Annual Leave: 22 days plus statutory bank holidays
Sick Pay: SSP in accordance with government regulations

Company will match your contribution up to 6% (after a 3-month probationary period)

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Electrician (C&G/Apprenticeship/AM2 or Equivalent)
C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or Equivalent)

Desirable Qualifications & Experience
SHEA Passport (Not essential)
SCO1 & 2 (Not essential)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to engage with clients at all levels
Flexibility to travel on short notice, including long distances
