This full-time position is perfect for someone eager to support students' academic progress and emotional well-being, particularly those facing behavioural challenges.
Our client is looking for a Teaching Assistant who holds a high-level degree, who is keen to gain valuable school-based experience to then pursue a career in education. Experience isn't essential but desired.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored one-on-one and group support for students, focusing on those with behavioural difficulties.
* Assist in maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere and managing behaviour effectively.
* Collaborate with teachers to implement and refine behaviour management strategies.
* Support students' overall development, helping them achieve both educational and personal goals.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working with students with behavioural challenges.
* Strong skills in behaviour management and classroom support.
* A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to meeting student needs.
Essential Criteria:
* Experience with secondary school students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
* Enhanced DBS disclosure.
* Overseas police clearance (if applicable).
* Professional references confirming your suitability for the role.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:15 PM
