Are you experienced in organising and delivering events? Do you have knowledge and understanding of student recruitment? If yes, then this role may be ideal for you.
As a member of the Events team in Future Students and Brand Directorate (FS&B), the Events Coordinator will support student recruitment events and activities across the Directorate. They will provide operational support for postgraduate and undergraduate student recruitment.
The role holder will support a wide range of events with responsibility for coordinating various activities in person and online, to meet overarching priorities. Events include but are not limited to in person and online open days, applicant events, Clearing and assisting with the organisation and attending external events as required.
They will provide administrative support to help deliver acquisition and conversion activity and support the wider team in liaising with Finance with regards to processing and payment of purchase orders and invoices.
A proactive member of the team, the role holder will work in close collaboration with Academic School team colleagues and PSD delivery teams in the Directorate.
As an Events Coordinator you can expect to be involved in:
* Supporting the delivery of the annual plans to maximise student recruitment and conversion, under the direction of the Events Lead.
* Ensuring the University continues to positively enhance their recruitment targets, profile and reputation in line with University processes, policies and ambition, and that the local activity draws on resources in FS&B teams.
* Collating data and information from a range of sources in support of events and activities as directed, in order to both support and inform the University’s marketing and recruitment plan.
* Creating and managing events through use of the CRM. Manipulating and assessing CRM data for events as required and directed by the Events Lead.
What will you bring to the role?
* Educated to A level or equivalent experience
* Previous event and administrative experience in a busy, customer facing role
* Experience of organising and delivering events
* Some prior knowledge and understanding of student recruitment, ideally gained in the higher education sector
