Site Foreman
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading north Herefordshire client offering a fantastic opportunity to lead and mentor a team of site technicians to deliver repair and servicing projects across the UK. You will be responsible for traveling and managing sites across the UK, engaging with clients and guiding and supporting technicians to deliver a professional and safe end to end service.

What you will be doing:
1. Work as part of the team to ensure the safe and successful installation and servicing for client sites.
2. Coordinate tasks for client jobs according to priorities and plans.
3. Supervise, mentor and train technicians allocating general and daily responsibilities.
4. Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met and have a full understanding of all risk and method statements (RAMS) specific to each task and to work to them accordingly.
5. Be responsible for the initial engagement with clients onsite, introducing the team, and ensuring the paperwork is in place to begin work.
6. Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
7. Report on progress to managers and clients on the completion of site work, ensuring the necessary paperwork for signoff.
8. Hiring of the necessary equipment (such as scaffolding) for the client sites.
9. Responsible for driving and managing the safety and security of the company vehicle.
10. Be an active member of the safety team, attending bi-annual meetings and regular toolbox talks.
11. Ensure that accurate records are maintained and submitted with regards to expenses and timesheets.
12. Support the safe working practices as required by law ensuring use of PPE.
13. Ensure that works vehicles have the correct and necessary equipment required to carry out work.
14. Ensure other members of your works teams are completing works safely and efficiently.
15. Attend training courses as required and ensure that professional qualifications (where relevant) are kept up to date.
16. Work to support the company Quality Management System, ensuring that correct procedures, systems and methods are followed.
What we are looking for:
1. Proven progressive experience within construction or engineering as a Technician or site foreman.
2. In depth knowledge of site procedures, using site equipment and OSH guidelines.
3. To be confident working within Confined Spaces, Working at Height, IPAF, PASMA.
4. Hold a full UK driving licence.
5. Client driven and able to facilitate the resolution of any issues.
6. Use initiative to independently respond with actionable plans for any issues that might arise.
7. Can lead by example, demonstrating a good work ethic and a willingness towards the jobs at hand.
8. Ability to work away Monday to Friday with some weekend work when required managing site projects across the UK.
9. Thoughtful team leader, with the ability to engage and mentor the team.
