Job Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
Assist with daily living activities, ensuring the well-being and safety of all residents.
Implement individual care plans tailored to the specific needs of each child.
Support children with challenging behaviours and promote positive interactions.
Engage in three -to-one support sessions to encourage personal development.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
Be available for waking night shifts as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in care work, particularly with children and young people.
Knowledge of therapeutic care practices and support for children with learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, complex care needs
Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
Experience in control and restraint techniques.
