* Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm - No Weekends!
Our client, a well-respected independent garage in Canterbury, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior/ Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their skilled team. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience as a Senior Technician and a solid understanding of diagnostic work, ensuring that every vehicle is serviced to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough vehicle diagnostics and repairs, ensuring safety and reliability.

Supervise and assist junior technicians, providing guidance and training.

Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks on various makes and models.
*
Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations and recommendations.

Maintain records of work completed and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Stay updated with industry developments and emerging automotive technologies.
Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician in a garage environment.
*
Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of modern vehicle systems.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
*
Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) in automotive engineering.
*
Full driving license.
