Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teacher with experience supporting students with a variety of needs? We are looking for a talented SEN Teacher to join our inclusive and vibrant Special Needs Primary School in Aylesbury. As an experienced Primary School Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEND), providing them with the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
Support the development of personaliSed learning plans for children with SEND.
Work collaboratively with other staff, including SENCOs, to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Adapt and modify teaching methods to meet the varying needs of students in your class.
Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages every child to succeed.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in leading a classroom, ideally with students who have SEN.
Experience working with students who have SEND in a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of Special Needs and how to adapt teaching strategies to support students effectively.
A commitment to professional development in the field of SEN education.
QTS is not compulsory for this role, but proven experience in classroom management and teaching is essential.
